The News and Stuff September 17th, 2002: Yep, a contest! I've got a hole to fill in my storyline schedule for November. The entire month of November, actually. So here's the deal - I want YOU to write me a storyline for November, that I could potentially waste four weeks with. All you have to do is send me a paragraph or so of plot, a short Flint story from beginning to end. There aren't many restrictions just a few provisos, a couple of quid pro quos... * No trying to delve into backstory. That's my territory, punk. * No doing anything that completely goes against what a particular character would normally do. For example, Flint can't investigate the growing sexual tension between Amanda and Andie. Well, he can, but I won't pick your story. * No epics. Remember - this is four weeks tops. * No complaining if I add to or cut your stories a little. I still need to fit it into continuity. That's it! The deadline for sending me your stories is October 1st, maybe longer if I don't get that many by then. Just shoot them to john@sporkman.com and drink well.
